That’s why we’ve put together a handy back to preschool shopping list to give you and your children a head start on their first day of preschool.

Picking out new footwear is a back to school ritual repeated every year. That new pair of shoes can help get your toddler excited for their first day of preschool. And a new pair of shoes can help parents feel confident that their child is well dressed for the fall weather. From new styles like Toms to classic brands like Skechers, Baby and Beyond offer a wide selection of shoes for preschoolers both in store and online.
Fall may not officially start until the end of September, but that doesn’t mean fall weather is going to wait until then. With morning temperatures dipping into the single digits it can be cold in the mornings, even when it soars to the mid 20’s later on in the day. A well prepared toddler will have a cozyf all sweater or jacket to protect against those early morning chills, but still compact enough it can be stuffed into a back pack for the car ride home after school.
One often forgotten area of back to school shopping is formal attire. You don’t need a 3 piece suit for your little one (although they’d be the most dapper kid in class) but a button up shirt and tie for boys, or dress and tights for girls can go a long way. A nice outfit on the first day of class can help make a good impression on teachers and create memorable first day of preschool photos.
